Production

Here I created the front page of my website on photoshop. I did this using the rectangular marquee tool to make the banner, and made the banner black (I knew i wanted the banner to be black form my extensive research) also I created two layers, one called background and the other called banner. These tools were some of the first tools I learnt how to use on Photoshop, (I showed how to use them on my research page) and they have come in very useful. I am very happy with how the website looks so far. Originally I wanted to use a Gucci style font (as this was the high-end font from my research that I wanted as my clients website wanted a premium finish, however I couldn't find this font on Photoshop so I settled for this font - I do still however like it and think it has a premium finish. I ensured I asked my client whether she approved of this font and she in fact said she preferred it to the Gucci style font. I still need to ensure that I build the footer of the website with the copyright information as me and the client liked this from element of the Bonham's website.

Today I made a lot of progress, I made a fully functioning menu bar, with links to the different pages, and even imported a gallery and a interactive map from the widgets library. 

Here I created another asset in Photoshop - this was the footer that I wanted from my designing and research. This had multiple layers including the copyright logo layer, the text layers and he black background layer.

I imported this footer into Muse using the file and place option:

I also put my  menu design design and assets into Muse, so I could turn it into my clients website. I did in fact however encounter a problem. I forgot to make individual buttons for my menu on photoshop and instead just made one design, so I had to cut the different buttons out of my Photoshop design and individually import them into muse and then link them to the different pages of my website. Here is a short video showing what I did.

I also added the Gucci style photo gallery that me and my client thought would work very well for her website onto the our antiques page. I did this using the widget library.

During the production process some of mine and the clients ideas for the website changed. For example when I was showing the client the website, she decided that she didn't want a drop down menu anymore, as she thought that it would make the website look cluttered. I in fact agreed with her, so we decided that we wouldn't put them on the website.
